Non-Governmental Organization "Center of Innovative Technologies for Human Factors Control” was established in October 3, 2016 in Kyiv, Ukraine. 
 
   
In its activities, the Non-Governmental Organization “Center of Innovative Technologies for Human Factors Control” is governed by the Law of Ukraine “On Public Associations”, under which it has obtained the status of a legal entity. In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On State Registration of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Associations”, the organization was entered into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Associations. By decision of the State Tax Authority, the organization was included in the Register of Non-Profit Institutions and Organizations. 
 
     

   

 

Mission and Areas of Activity

 

 

 

The Center of Innovative Technologies for Human Factors Control promotes the development and dissemination of scientific knowledge, innovative technologies, and international best practices in human factors management. The organization works to support the humanization of work, enhance the professional reliability and performance of personnel across industries, and reduce the negative impact of the human factor on technological and industrial safety.  

 

 
The Organization focuses on the following areas:  
 
 
  • Analysis of challenges in human factors management and practices aimed at improving the reliability and effectiveness of professional teams.
  • Independent expert review of training programs for human factors specialists (psychologists, ergonomists, and specialized managers) in line with the needs of modern industry.
  • Assessment of professional competencies of human factors specialists.
     
 
 
  • Expert analysis of human factors management systems in organizations and enterprises.
  • Educational and outreach activities and provision of scientific and methodological support to organizations, managers, and professionals.
  • Promotion of professional cooperation among human factors specialists in organizational, industrial, engineering, aviation, and related fields of psychology.

In accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine and the organization's Charter, the NGO “Center of Innovative Technologies for Human Factors Control” has the right to carry out various activities and implement projects consistent with its statutory purposes; to enter into civil law transactions; to acquire property and non-property rights; and to engage in entrepreneurial activities directly or through legal entities established by it, provided that such activities correspond to the organization’s purpose and contribute to its achievement.
 

  

 

 




Chairman of Board

Oleksandr Petrenko, consultant in personnel assessment, organizational development, industrial psychology and ergonomics, psychologist-trainer, PhD in Psychology.

He has many years of experience in research and lecturing as Head of the Department of Aviation Psychology and Professor in the Department of Human Factor Management at the National Aviation University in Kyiv. He is also the official guarantor of the Master’s degree program in Psychology of Extreme and Crisis Situations, which provides in-depth study of the functioning of socio-technical systems. 

As a project leader and principal researcher, he has extensive experience working on business projects involving the development and implementation of technologies for personnel assessment and performance management, corporate culture development, psychological support for organizational change, and professional psychological selection.

 
His research and practical interests include organizational, industrial, and aviation psychology; comprehensive personnel assessment; the factors and consequences of transformations in professional worldviews; protection against human error in various activities, including human–machine interaction; and the use of natural language in human–machine interaction. He is the author of more than 60 scientific and educational publications in Ukraine and abroad.
